· Conducted classroom training and provided technical support to over 180 computers and users: identified and resolved computer problems, installed software in a timely manner and with minimum interruption to the user.

installation, configuration and ongoing usability of desktop computers,
peripheral equipment and software. This included set-up of computers and
installation of Solarwind’s NAble, Cirix solutions and desktop connections,
TrueStore11, ReVive, ShadowProtect, Adaptec RAID essentials, VMWare DaaS agents,
CineBench, and Zerto virtual replications for numerous clients at on-site
locations.

Worked with MS Server 2008 and MS Server 2012. Managed
Exchange servers and used the shell command to monitor mailbox sizes. Set up
users and passwords on the domain contoller in active directory. Managed nightly
backups using Norton Symantec and troubleshot issues if the backup did not
complete.

Installed patch cables and consolidated data centers with rack
enclosures for wire management. Worked with RJ11/RJ45 toner testers to find dead
cables or ports on the switch in the server rooms. Removed old cat5 cables and
rewired new cables to connect the switch with the workstations.

Assisted the IT team in changing the aquarium’s main web site video player from
Flash to HTML5 for Apple user compatibility. Managed printers, RAM, CPUs, hard
drives, motherboards, and printer software on the computers in the aquarium.
Reached over 500 volunteer hours as a tour guide for the aquarium, and over 150
hour as an intern for the IT team.

Installed patch cables and replaced cat5 cables connecting them from the data
ports to the main switch in the server rooms. Created cat5 wires by arranging
the correct wire pattern for either a link cable or twisted pair cable.
